The entire first floor underwent a remarkable overhaul, from selecting materials to furniture to fixtures. The design concept incorporated textured materials, vibrant pops of color, and fabric patterns, with custom upholstery playing a pivotal role in crafting unique furniture pieces throughout the home.

One of the biggest challenges we face in this community comes from having previously designed similar homes in former phases. It is important to us that our designs do not become too repetitive and stagnant. For these homes we conducted an extensive search for a new aesthetic that we could apply to the exterior of these homes that would blend naturally with the pre-established architecture of this master plan while at the same time would bring a fresh, new appeal.

Determining that this flat, narrow in-fill site adjacent to a multi-lane highway would be aptly suited for an intimate for-rent community to house a fast-emerging clientele of young, mobile professionals, our client challenged us to design a product with apartment-type density that felt more like a neighborhood of small homes.
