He leads a team designing high-density projects from foundation and initial site planning through the design development phases. As a result of his tenure in architecture and planning, Sherman is adept at understanding the environmental and spatial relations among different land uses, whether it be master planning a land development or vertically integrating a building into an already incorporated area. He is known as a trailblazer with a tenacious yet empathetic approach to his projects. His architecture is characterized by clear geometrics, meticulously proportioned volumes, and the powerful use of light.
