At Oakcrest in Rocklin, the landscape architecture extends everyday living into a collection of refined outdoor rooms shaped around water, shade, and layered planting. Pools, raised spas, lounge terraces, and covered patios are composed as natural extensions of the homes, creating a relaxed residential setting with the polish and comfort of a private resort.
The landscapes use a restrained palette of light stone, clean paving, evergreen structure, and sculptural planting to complement the architecture while giving each home a distinct identity. Olive trees and layered shrubs soften the hardscape, while broad terraces, integrated steps, and low walls establish clear transitions between gathering spaces, pool edges, and quieter garden areas. Carefully placed lighting reinforces the composition after dark and adds depth to the planting and architectural forms.
Outdoor living is organized as a sequence of destinations rather than a single patio. Pools and spas are paired with waterfall edges, submerged or poolside lounging, raised seating areas, and intimate courts framed by mature-looking trees. Covered outdoor rooms support dining and entertaining, while open-air terraces provide flexible spaces for conversation and relaxation. The result is a landscape that feels generous, connected, and highly usable throughout the day and into the evening.
A layered landscape of water, stone, shade, and planting gives Oakcrest a polished resort character while keeping the outdoor spaces comfortable, residential, and closely connected to the homes.
