Category
Corporate / Commercial Campus Landscape

At the Skechers campus in Moreno Valley, the landscape architecture creates a highly recognizable corporate arrival through the disciplined use of water, palms, paving, and low planting. Broad pedestrian approaches move between expansive reflecting pools and fountain displays, establishing a memorable sense of scale while maintaining clear circulation to the primary entrances.
The entry landscape is organized through strong axial geometry that reinforces the campus identity from the parking areas to the building. Linear pools frame the main walk, rows of date palms establish rhythm and vertical emphasis, and a large fountain serves as a visual landmark across the site. Wide concrete promenades, stainless-steel bollards, sculptural spheres, and precise paving transitions guide visitors while preserving open views and a clean, contemporary character.
Planting is arranged in broad, graphic bands that balance the scale of the water features and extensive paved areas. Low groundcovers, ornamental grasses, clipped shrubs, and palm groupings define pedestrian routes without obscuring the building frontage. The restrained palette supports visibility, durability, and ease of maintenance while providing texture and relief from the surrounding hardscape. Reflections of palms, sky, and glass across the water strengthen the visual connection between the landscape and the campus setting.
