Created for Russell Westbrook's Honor the Gift, this Los Angeles retail environment pairs raw materiality, dramatic lighting, and a disciplined monochromatic palette to translate the brand's identity into an immersive spatial experience.
The interior is composed as a study in contrast. Concrete surfaces, exposed structure, blackened steel, polished concrete floors, and layered plaster-and-brick walls establish an intentionally raw architectural backdrop, while crisp white surfaces and illuminated stone elements bring precision and refinement. The restrained palette allows the merchandise and brand graphics to remain the visual focus while giving the space a distinctly urban character.
Custom black steel display systems organize the sales floor with a light, gallery-like presence, keeping sightlines open and the merchandise visually accessible. A dramatic field of suspended linear lamps animates the high-volume ceiling, while oversized mirrors, ribbed-glass doors, sculptural lighting, and integrated signage add depth and rhythm throughout the store. At the center, a luminous stone transaction counter creates a refined focal point against the darker industrial framework.

Raw texture, graphic contrast, and carefully controlled lighting create a retail experience that feels expressive, elevated, and unmistakably Honor the Gift.
