Newbrook is defined by a graceful tension between familiar gabled forms and interiors of remarkable volume, where pale surfaces, expressive millwork, and garden light create an atmosphere of quiet ease.
Across the Oceana, Abigail, and Julington plans, the collection develops a nuanced contemporary vernacular. Layered gables, broad porches, horizontal siding, and vertical board-and-batten panels bring depth to the pale elevations, while dark-framed windows and finely detailed entries add definition. The rooflines step gently across each facade rather than dominating it, giving the houses a generous but approachable presence within their lush setting.
Abigail turns that measured exterior into a striking sequence of height and light. Its great room rises through two stories, centered on a dark, monolithic fireplace and edged by an upper gallery. Natural-toned paneling tempers the scale, and high clerestory windows wash the walls with daylight. By contrast, Oceana is more enveloping: wood-lined ceiling planes hover above navy cabinetry, broad seating groups, and a kitchen conceived as part of the social landscape.
Lofty gathering spaces flow into sheltered terraces, with expansive openings framing the landscape and allowing light, garden, and architecture to become part of a continuous living experience.
