A warm contemporary residence organized around light, courtyards, and a refined palette of oak, stone, and blackened metal, Newport Residence brings a relaxed sophistication to coastal Southern California living.
Newport Residence is conceived as a layered interior where clean contemporary lines are softened by natural materials and subtle references to the home's Mediterranean setting. Wide-plank oak floors, warm wood cabinetry, black-framed glazing, and sculptural stone surfaces establish a calm architectural foundation, while coffered ceilings, open-riser stairs, and carefully framed views give the home rhythm and depth.
The central living spaces are planned for both everyday ease and entertaining. A generous kitchen with a waterfall stone island opens directly toward the living room and courtyard, while a glass-enclosed wine room creates a striking transparent volume between circulation and gathering spaces. Large openings extend the interior into landscaped outdoor rooms, allowing light and greenery to move through the home throughout the day.
Natural light, expressive material contrast, and seamless connections to the courtyard create a home that feels composed, tactile, and distinctly Californian.
