Private Residential Landscape
A refined Mediterranean landscape is organized as a sequence of lush garden rooms, balancing formal planting, sculptural containers, water, lawn, and contemporary outdoor amenities around the residence.
The arrival landscape establishes a composed, garden-forward character through clipped hedges, flowering roses, citrus and evergreen specimens, and oversized architectural planters. Planting is layered tightly against the residence to soften the stone and stucco walls while maintaining clear views to the arched entry. Repeated containers and carefully scaled shrubs reinforce the symmetry of the approach, creating a gracious transition from the street into the more private garden spaces beyond.
A sheltered entry court continues the sequence with tall palms in sculptural planters and a restrained palette that allows the architecture to remain prominent. Within the interior courtyard, a circular blue-tile fountain becomes the focal point, introducing movement, reflection, and sound against light stone paving and smooth river rock. The limited planting and precise hardscape geometry give this central garden a calm, contemporary character while preserving its Mediterranean identity.
Structured planting and architectural water features create a landscape that feels formal at arrival and increasingly relaxed as it transitions toward the private entertaining spaces.
